Buenos Aires rat race views
I perch on a bench near the office eating my lunch and drinking in this view of the port. The Puente de la Mujer stealing centre stage. ‘Women’s Bridge’ is a terrible translation for a bridge honouring nearby Puerto Madero streets that are named after women. I have actually been to Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, where the steel was fabricated. I liked it, but not as much as this bridge…
Walking or cycling through the park on the way home, getting some perspective on the day behind me…
beautiful!!
Glad you like!
What a beautiful carrousel (known by a young chap I know as simply ‘rides!’) Never seen a tiger on one before. Is it really 18th century or just a representation of one?
Rides is a great name, to the point! I’m not sure about its era, I’ll ask next time I pass by. Certainly a pretty one.
Yes, the carousel is a stunner – especially at twilight. Lovely pics Claudia – who designed the bridge – Calatrava?
Yes, Calatrava. Very striking!
Beautiful and though provoking
